Baaghi 4 advance booking: Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt’s violent actioner, Baaghi 4 has already earned Rs 2.81 crore in early ticket sales, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. It is expected to open decently at the box office on Day 1.

The film has sold over 1.16 lakh tickets for Day 1 in 6922 shows. When combined with the collection for block seats, the film has already earned Rs 5.24 crore. The actioner has done maximum collection of Rs 55.66 lakhs (without block seats) in Maharashtra with 6% occupancy in over 1252 shows. This is followed by Delhi which raked in Rs 39.91 lakhs with an occupancy of 6% in 757 shows.

Baaghi 4 is expected to have the best opening for Tiger since pandemic. His last three films, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024), Ganapath (2023) and Heropanti 2 (2022) didn’t fare very well on Day 1, earning Rs 7 crore, Rs 3 crore and Rs 5 crore respectively with block seats.

Directed by A. Harsha, Baaghi 4 also stars Harnaaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva and Upendra Limaye in pivotal roles. Its trailer created a buzz online for the hyperviolent visuals which raised multiple bars for showing on-screen gore. Tiger and Sanjay are seen breaking bodies, spilling blood and slicing up enemies in the trailer.

All the previous instalments of the Baaghi franchises have been inspired from South Indian films like Varsham (2004), Kshanam (2016), and Vettai (2012). However, director Harsha told CE in an earlier interview that the fourth part will not be a remake. “It’s going to be grittier, with more raw intensity. Tiger’s character will undergo a complete makeover. We’ve reimagined his action sequences with extreme moves and emotions, which will be a new experience for the audience. Sajid (Nadiadwala, producer) has a keen understanding of scripts, and this is not a regular commercial film. We’re aiming for a darker, more intense vibe” he said.

Written and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 4 is set to be released in theatres on September 5, clashing at the box office with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files.
