Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are not seen together quite often. Recently, they shared the stage for an event in Riyadh where they spoke about their careers and the journey in the film industry.

A video from the event has gone viral where the three are seated together in conversation with an interviewer. Salman said, “Aamir comes from a film background, and so do I, but this man here (Shah Rukh Khan) didn’t. He came from Delhi and struggled.” Shah Rukh then is seen interrupting Salman before he can complete. Shah Rukh says, “May I interrupt, Salman, sorry. I also come from a film family. Salman’s family is my family, and Aamir’s family is my family. That’s why I’m a star.”

Aamir also pitched in as he said, “So now you know how Shah Rukh is a star,” Aamir says as the audience is heard cheering for them. Aamir and Shah Rukh wore black outfits during the event while Salman wore a navy blue coat.

Shah Rukh later teased the possibility of a long-awaited collaboration among the three. He said, "It’s been too long I’ve been humble... I’ve been too nice, too kind. I have to say, if three of us are in a project, it is a dream itself. Hopefully not a nightmare... Inshallah, whenever we get an opportunity, a story, we’re always sitting, whenever Aamir, Salman, and myself, we get together... I feel thankful to be on the same stage with them."

Salman jokingly said to him, "So, Shah Rukh has this one thing. He keeps saying over and over again… I want him to say that here. Try and say that here that nobody can afford us three in a film together. Say it."

Shah Rukh replied, “I don’t want to say it in Saudi because everyone will get up and say, ‘Habibi, done, done, done!’ Affordability isn’t just about money — it’s about time, eccentricities, and the way we work. We joke so much that any director will have to tell us to start working!”

Aamir said the three of them feel emotionally ready to come together for a film. "It's just a matter of coming across the right script. So hopefully... it's going to be the script that's going to be the most important for the three of us," he said.

Salman and Shah Rukh have shared the screen together in films like Karan Arjun (1995) and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). While Salman and Aamir starred in the cult-classic, Andaz Apna Apna (1994).

Aamir earlier spoke about the three coming together for a film during a conversation on Game Changers with Komal Nahta. He said, “Salman and Shah Rukh have worked together, Salman and I have collaborated, too, but the three of us have not. But I think we are more ready for it than we were earlier. And if a good story comes with good roles for three of us and if we all like it, we will definitely do it. There is no other problem.”

He added, “That's an emotion we identify with, Shah Rukh, Salman and I. All three will respect the emotions of the audience.”

Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh had cameos in Aryan Khan’s recently released web-series debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood.
