Actor Ahsaas Channa is set to star in the upcoming family drama, Greater Kailash, which will be released on Netflix on October 17, the makers announced on Saturday. The film is directed by Aditya Chandiok and written by Ritu Mago.

The makers unveiled a first look poster of the quirky film where Ahsaas is seen eavesdropping on a conversation behind a door with a worried expression on her face. Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “Meet Twinkle Handa ki family. Kya inki Diwali hogi happy-wali? (Meet the family of Twinkle Handa. Will their Diwali be happy?) Watch Greater Kalesh, a Netflix special, out 17 October, only on Netflix.”

Speaking about the film, Ahsaas said in a statement, “I have always been attracted to stories about families and the shades that we don’t often see. Greater Kalesh offers just that, and I’m beyond excited to also mark my first film with Netflix. When I read the script, I instantly knew this was something I had to do. The story is witty, warm and wonderfully sincere. I can't wait for the audience to meet Twinkle Handa and her beautifully chaotic world.”
