Stolen, starring Abhishek Banerjee, Shubham Vardhan and Mia Maelzer, and directed by Karan Tejpal, has been nominated in two categories: Best Feature Film (fiction) and Best Director at the upcoming Asian Academy Creative Awards, 2025.

Elated by the news, Abhishek Banerjee shared, “Stolen was always made for a universal audience and to be nominated for two categories at such prestigious international awards is a matter of pride. Best film and best director nominations also tell you the kind of production it’s been. It was always the vision of Gaurav (Dhingra, producer) and Karan Tejpal (director). Thanks to their guts stolen is representing India at such a prestigious event.”

After making rounds at various film festivals, including the 14th Beijing International Film Festival and Zurich Film festival, the film released on Prime Video on June 4.

The film revolves around two brothers who land into trouble when they decide to help a destitute woman find her infant child.
