Shah Rukh Khan has officially become the billionaire with a net worth of $1.4 billion (Rs 12490 crore) as per the findings of Hurun India Rich List 2025 which was released on October 1. The superstar has been the richest actor in India for a long time but the report states that his net worth has grown significantly over the years and he has climbed several spots globally.

Talking about Shah Rukh’s growth, the report said, “Bollywood’s Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan (59), joins the billionaire club for the first time with a wealth of INR 12,490 Crore." This makes Shah Rukh richer than Taylor Swift ($1.3 billion), Arnold Schwarzenegger ($1.2 billion), Jerry Seinfeld ($1.2 billion), and Selena Gomez ($720 million), among others.

In India, the gap between him and other actors in the list has been widening. Juhi Chawla is next up on the list with net worth of Rs 7790 crores followed by Hrithik Roshan at Rs 2160 crore, Karan Johar at Rs 1880 crore and Amitabh Bachchan at Rs 1630 crore.

Last year, Shah Rukh’s net worth as listed by the Hurun Research Institute was $870 million.

A major chunk of Shah Rukh’s fortune comes from his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. He is also the owner of the IPL cricket team, Kolkata Knight Riders, along with Juhi, which contributes significantly to their wealth. The superstar also has invested in real estate in different parts of the world with his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra, costing Rs 200 crore. He also owns a holiday retreat in England, a residence in Dubai and properties in Delhi along with his farmhouse in Alibaug.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh will be seen next in the actioner, King, which is being helmed by Siddharth Anand and is currently being shot.
