Actor Avika Gor, known for starring in the television serial, Balika Vadhu (2008), tied the knot with her longtime partner, Milind Chandwani on the sets of the reality TV show, Pati Patni Aur Panga recently.

The wedding ceremony was attended by contestants of the reality show and other guests including, Hina Khan, Rocky Jaiswal, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Gurmeet Choudhary, Debina Bonnerjee, Sudesh Lehri, Mamta Lehri, Swara Bhaskar, Fahad Ahmad, Geeta Phogat, Krushna Abhishek, Farah Khan, Rakhi Sawant, and Samarth Jurel.

Avika and Milind shared a photo in their wedding attire on their social media. She looked radiant in a designer red sari while he wore a peach toned sherwani. Sharing the photo, they wrote, “Baalika se Vadhu tak (From a child to a bride)”.

Avika and Milind first met in Hyderabad through their mutual friends and their friendship soon turned into love. The two got engaged earlier this year in June.

In a recent interview with The Hindustan Times, Avika spoke about the significance of getting married on a public platform. “I’ve been in the public eye since 2008, and the love and blessings I’ve received from people have been overwhelming. I wanted my audience, who’ve been such an important part of my journey, to be a part of this special moment. In some way, I manifested this.”

She added, “There are days when I wake up and remind myself that it’s real. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found a partner who supports me, understands me, and always pushes me to grow in life.”

On the work front, Avika was last seen in the Telugu crime-thriller, Shanmukha. She shot to fame as a child actor, playing the role of Anandi Singh in Balika Vadhu. She later also starred in the widely popular television serial, Sasural Simar Ka (2011-2016) and was also a contestant on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 (2019).
