Actor Sonam Kapoor took to social media on Thursday to announce her second pregnancy.

Sonam posted a series of pictures on Instagram wearing a hot-pink pure wool suit with oversized padded shoulders. Her baby bump can be made out in the dress. She also captioned the post, “MOTHER.”

The actor married businessman Anand Ahuja in 2018. They welcomed a son, Vayu, in 2022.

Sonam is known for films like Delhi-6 (2009), Aisha (2010), Raanjhanaa (2013) and Neerja (2016) but since becoming a mother, she has not featured in many films or series. Her last work was an OTT film called Blind which came out in 2023.

Talking about work and motherhood in a previous interview she had said, “I will try to do the best I can as a mother, which means that acting will definitely take a backseat, but I don't think I will ever stop working completely.”
