Actor Huma Qureshi has given her take on “emotional vs physical cheating” which was discussed on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle.

In an episode, which had Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor as guests, the hosts had asked a question about what is worse between couples, physical or emotional infidelity. While Karan, Kajol and Twinkle sided with emotional cheating as being the deal breaker, Janhvi found herself alone in stating that physical infidelity is also as bad. Twinkle had responded to Janhvi by saying, “We’re in our 50s, she’s in her 20s, and she will get into this circle soon. She hasn’t seen the things we have seen. Raat gayi baat gayi. (What’s happened, has happened).” This led to a debate on social media as well.

Now, Huma has given her two cents on the whole issue. Speaking on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, she said, “Cheating is cheating, physical-emotional kya hota hai, cheating, cheating hoti hai (What is physical or emotional? Cheating is cheating). I am very clear about this. I am a very old-school, simple girl. What is emotional cheating anyway?”

When asked about Kajol and Twinkle’s comment about how young people will have a different view about infidelity when they reach their 50s, she said, “I don’t believe in that. I am very black-white in this matter. Either don’t be with someone and if you are with someone then be with them properly. I don’t understand this free pass kind of thing. I can joke about it and say, ‘Don’t get caught otherwise I will kill you.’ I don’t understand it, then don’t be with a person, stay single and do your thing.”

On the work front, Huma was recently seen as the antagonist in Delhi Crime season 3.
