Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa welcome baby girl: 'Greatest blessing God has given us'

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa got married in 2021 after being in a relationship for over a decade

Congratulations have been pouring in for new parents in the town - Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa who have welcomed a baby girl. The joyous occasion is also doubly special for the actors as the birth of their first child coincided with their fourth wedding anniversary.

They wrote on their social media handles, “We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl. Blessed parents, Patralekhaa and Rajkummar.” They captioned the post, saying, " The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary."

Actors Varun Dhawan, Neha Dhupia, Ali Fazal, Comedian Bharti Singh, Tripti Dimrii, Keerthy Suresh, Sonam Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana and many others congratulated them for turning a new chapter in their lives. Vicky Kausha, who recently became a father himself, also wished them under their post.

Rajkummar and Patralekhaa got married in 2021 after being in a relationship for over a decade. The two have worked together on the film Citylights (2014) and the web-series, Bose: Dead/Alive (2017). Earlier this year in January, they launched their production company, KAMPA films. They also announced their first production, Toaster. Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary, the film is a quirky comedy starring Rajkummar and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles.

Rajkummar was seen in the time-loop comedy-drama, Bhool Chuk Maaf, along with Wamiqa Gabbi, and Maalik, an action thriller from director Pulkit. Meanwhile, Patralekhaa starred alongside Pratik Gandhi in the biographical-drama, Phule recently, where she played the role of social reformer Savitribai Phule.
