Shraddha Kapoor is set to voice for the character of Judy Hopps in the Hindi version of the upcoming animated feature, Zootopia 2. The announcement came ahead of the film’s scheduled release in Indian cinemas on November 28.
Shraddha made the announcement by sharing a poster featuring her and Judy. She wrote in caption, “Bohot jyada excited to join the #Zootopia2 family, as the voice of THE AMAZING Judy Hopps in Hindi - She is feisty, courageous, enthu cutlet aur cute toh hai hi.. bachpan se. Aaj aa raha hai aapke liye ek anokha surpise. Stay Tuned!”
Judy Hopps is the chirpy rabbit police officer in the Zootopia franchise. The sequel marks her return to the metropolis of Zootopia with her partner, Nick Wilde. The two detectives find themselves on the trail of a mysterious reptile who causes havoc in the city. The film has been directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard.
Meanwhile, Shraddha was last seen in the blockbuster horror-comedy, Stree 2, which came out last year and did a business of over Rs 875 crore worldwide. Also starring Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee, Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik.
