Shah Rukh Khan to Anirudh: Cook up a feast fit for the King

King marks Anirudh's second collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan after Atlee's Jawan

Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday, was responding to the wishes from several personalities on X.

Composer Anirudh, who is reuniting with the actor after Jawan (2023), wished him with the title glimpse of King. In response, after thanking Anirudh, SRK said, "Now go to the studio and cook up a feast fit for the King. Love u beta." (sic)

King helmer Siddharth Anand previously directed Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan (2023). The film will also mark the big-screen debut of SRK’s daughter, Suhana Khan. There’s also buzz that the film features a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma. However, an official announcement is still awaited. The makers have also not revealed details about the film's technical crew, yet.

Anirudh has had five releases this year: Ajith Kumar starrer, Vidaamuyarchi, Vijay Deverakonda starrer Kingdom, Rajinikanth starrer Coolie, Sivakarthikeyan starrer Madharaasi, and the Netflix original The Ba***ds of Bollywood, marking the directorial debut of Aryan Khan.

In addition to King, his upcoming projects include Love Insurance Kompany, Jana Nayagan, The Paradise (Telugu), DC, Jailer 2, and Arasan.
