Hollywood star and wrestler John Cena thanked Shah Rukh Khan for constantly inspiring him. The two briefly interacted on social media recently.

During Shah Rukh’s live session on X, he was asked by a fan to write something about John, with whom the superstar posed for a photo during a function. Shah Rukh replied, “He is a rock star. Very humble and kind.”

John responded to Shah Rukh’s tweet and said, “Will never forget your kindness and our conversation. Thank you for the constant inspiration to me personally and your fans around the world!”

Earlier, John had reflected how Shah Rukh’s words had had an impact on his life. While talking to ANI, he said, "He (Shah Rukh) did a Ted Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life. And since that change, I've been able to recognise all the jackpots that I've been given and been grateful and work hard to make sure I don't waste them."

John also recalled his emotional moment of meeting the Bollywood star during Anand Ambani’s grand wedding function in Mumbai. He said, "It was just such an emotional moment to be able to shake a person's hand that affects your life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did. He was amazing. He couldn't have been more empathetic and kinder. It really was wonderful. I was awestruck, starstruck. It was fantastic."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh will be seen next in Siddharth Anand’s actioner, King, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles.

John was recently seen alongside Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, in Ilya Naishuller's Heads of State. He will be uniting with Kevin Hart for an upcoming action-comedy.
