The song ‘Zamaana Lage’ from Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. It features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

The music video opens on a rainy day in Mumbai, and the vocals by Arijit begin underlining the feeling of love as Aditya’s character sends off Sara in the train. Then the visuals move to Ali and Fatima playing Holi. It also features the story of Anupam and Neena, who are seen going out on a scooter and walking in the city. Pankaj and Konkona’s characters go on an outing by the beach and share some adorable moments. The video also features Pritam, singer Papon bringing in the style of ‘In Dino’ from Life In a…Metro. The lyrics by Qaisar bring the old-school quality of ghazal back to the forefront while poetically talking about the themes of love and heartbreak.

The film is directed by Anurag Basu and follows stories of bittersweet relationships in a contemporary setting, exploring various aspects, hues, and moods of love. It is a spiritual successor to Anurag’s 2007 romantic musical, Life in a... Metro, which told the story of nine people living in Mumbai and how their fate intertwines with each other.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu, it will be released in theatres on July 4.
