Saiyami Kher is set to star opposite Roshan Mathew in her Malayalam film debut. The shooting for the currently untitled film has already commenced in Mumbai.  

A source close to the project shared, “Saiyami has been keen on doing a Malayalam film for a while. She’s always been drawn to cinema that prioritises strong storytelling, and this script immediately stood out to her. Pairing with Roshan Mathew in a performance-driven role felt like the perfect next step.”

More details from the film are awaited.

This is not the first time Saiyami is working in languages other than Hindi. The actor has previously worked with Nagarjuna in the Telugu film, Wild Dog in 2021. Apart from that, she made her Marathi film debut with Mauli, starring Riteish Deshmukh in 2018.

She was most recently seen playing the role of a cop in Sunny Deol’s Jaat. Meanwhile, Roshan will be seen next in the thriller series Kankhajura, which is set to be released on Sony LIV on May 30.
