Housefull 5 Trailer: Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan claim to be the ‘real Jolly’ in this multistarrer comedy

The trailer of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan’s multistarrer comedy Housefull 5 was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangda Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir in pivotal roles.

The almost four-minute long trailer opens with the voiceover of Nana who introduces the plot, where Ranjit Dobriyal (Ranjeet) has called everyone on a cruise for his 100th birthday to announce his will. Three people come to claim the fortune. One, Jalauddin, played by Riteish, calling himself Jolly. Two, Jalbhushan (Abhishek) who says he is the real Jolly. Then Akshay makes the entry saying that he is Julius, the original Jolly. Soon, Ranjit is murdered and there are six suspects who are jailed in the cruise. Sanjay and Jackie arrive to find out the murderer. There are multiple moments of slapstick comedy and fun banter all along. The trailer ends with a meta moment where Jackie says the dialogue of his son Tiger from Heropanti, “Chhoti bachhi hai kya?

During the trailer launch, the film's writer and producer Sajid Nadiadwala revealed that the film will be released with two climaxes, with two different killers in each version.

Housefull 5 will be out in theatres on June 6.
