Akshay Kumar opened up about Paresh Rawal’s exit from Hera Pheri 3 and said that it is a serious matter which the court will handle. The actor’s production house, Cape of Good Films, had sent a legal notice to Paresh for exiting the film.
Akshay was speaking at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Housefull 5 in Mumbai on Tuesday. He was asked about Paresh's exit from the film and how some people are calling the veteran actor 'foolish' for doing so. To this, Akshay said, "I would not appreciate anybody using the word 'foolish' for my co-star. I would say that's not right." Akshay added that he is good friends with the veteran actor. “I have known him for over thirty years. He is a great actor, and I admire him," he said. Further, Akshay refused to comment anything more about his feud with Paresh. "Whatever the issue is, this is not the place where I am going to talk about it. It is a serious matter which the court will handle,” he said.
Paresh confirmed his exit from the third part of the popular comedy franchise recently and said that it was not due to ‘creative differences’. After this, Akshay reportedly sued the actor, seeking Rs 25 crore as damages. The notice claimed that Paresh had shot a promo clip for the film.
Paresh tweeted on Sunday that he has responded to Akshay and wrote, “Once they read my response, all issues will be laid to rest.” The actor’s legal representatives confirmed that Paresh also returned the signing amount received for the film with interest.
