Varun Dhawan’s upcoming romantic comedy with his father David Dhawan in the director’s chair, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, now has a release date. The film, also starring Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10 next year.

The film’s production house Tips Films took to social media to make the announcement. They shared a poster of the film with the title, coconut trees and blue skies can also be seen, suggesting a beachy vibe for the movie. “Double the trouble, triple the fun! Jab...'Hai Jawani toh Ishq Hona Hai' hits cinemas on 10th April 2026,” they captioned the post.

The film also features Mouni Roy, Chunkey Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in pivotal roles.

Last month, it was reported that Varun has started the final leg of the shoot for the film in Scotland.

Varun was last seen in the actioner Baby John, which was released in theatres on December 25 last year. The actor has worked with his father David previously for films like Main Tera Hero (2014) and Judwaa 2 (2017).
