The release date of Anupam Kher’s Tanvi The Great is out. The film, starring debutant Shubhangi in the lead, will release in theatres on July 18. Sharing a poster from the film which shows Shubhangi marching the other way as soldiers march past her, Anupam wrote, “They called her different, but she never saw that as a weakness. While the world tried to fit her into boxes, she chose to break them, one by one. #TanviTheGreat is a reminder that being different doesn't make you less, it makes you unstoppable.”

The film has an ensemble of actors like Iain Glen, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Arvind Swami, Pallavi Joshi, Nasser, Karan Tacker. Apart from taking up directorial duties, Anupam is also acting in the film.

With music by Oscar-winner M. M. Keeravani, Tanvi The Great is produced by Anupam Kher Studios in collaboration with NFDC. The film's distribution is handled by AA Films by Anil Thadani.
