Mouni Roy begins shooting in Scotland for David Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai

Mouni Roy has begun shooting for David Dhawan’s upcoming comedy-caper Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in Scotland, she said on Saturday. The film, headlined by Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur, also stars Chunkey Panday, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in pivotal roles.

She took to her Instagram stories to share a photo with Varun and Mrunal from the shoot to make the announcement. In the photo, Varun is seen in the middle, posing with Mrunal and Mouni on his two sides. Mouni wrote, “So glad to be on set with my beauty, Mrunal Thakur and the dapper, Varun Dhawan.”

Varun began shooting for the last-leg of the film in Scotland on April 22. It is a 30-day international shoot. The film is produced by Ramesh Taurani under the Tips banner.

Mouni was recently seen in the horror-comedy The Bhootnii, which starred Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Singh. It was released in theatres on May 1.
