Ajay Devgn, Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani-starrer Azaad is set for an OTT release. The Abhishek Kapoor-directorial hit theatres on January 17 and had a lukewarm response both critically and commercially. Now, the film will start streaming on Netflix from March 14.
Netflix India made the announcement on Instagram, along with the caption, “Bahaduri, wafadaari, aur jung aazadi ki. Watch Azaad on Netflix, out 14 March.”
Azaad marked the debut of Ajay Devgn’s son Aaman and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha.
Azaad is set during the British Raj and revolves around a dacoit Vikram (Ajay) and his stallion Azaad. Aaman plays the role of a young boy who works at the stables but is also training under Vikram as a rebel against the Raj. Rasha plays a rich girl who is Aaman’s love interest.
The film is written by Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair and Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor.
