The teaser for Maharani season 4 was unveiled by the makers on Monday. The show, directed by Puneet Prakash and written by Subhash Kapoor, Nandan Singh, Umashankar Singh, stars Huma Qureshi in the lead.
The teaser shows Huma as Bihar CM Rani Bharti mulling over her next move in her office. “Some people called me illiterate,” she says in a voiceover. “Some called me a murderer while some called me the future Prime Minister. I have no love for power. I have love for family and Bihar is my family.”
The show’s release date and the details on its ensemble cast are still under wraps.
Huma was last seen in the ZEE5 film Tarla. She has Jolly LLB 3 in the pipeline and will also be seen alongside Nayanthara and Yash in Toxic.
