Harshvardhan Rane, Sadia Khateeb to star in romantic-action drama Silaa; motion poster out

Earlier, we had reported that Harshvardhan Rane and The Diplomat (2025) fame Sadia Khateeb will soon be seen together in a film, helmed by Mary Kom (2014) director Omung Kumar. Now, the first motion poster and the title of the film have been revealed.

Harshavardhan took to social media on Monday to share the poster which shows him and Sadia, injured and bloody, in the backdrop of a flaming frame. The film is titled Silaa and the caption informed that the shoot for it will begin tomorrow. “The wait ends here... Dive into the hauntingly beautiful world of Silaa where love meets redemption. Lead actor Harshvardhan Rane and Sadia Khateeb come together for the first time in this romantic-action drama about a love-story gone wrong, directed by Omung Kumar,” Harshvardhan captioned the post.

The film will also feature TV actors Karanveer Mehra and Ipsitaa. 

The film will be a Zee Studio presentation, produced by Blue Lotus Pictures and Stark Entertainment in association with Innovations India. 

Harshavardhan was last seen in The Miranda Brothers (2024). He found fame again after the re-release of his 2016 romantic-drama Sanam Teri Kasam. Harshvardhan will also be seen in the film's sequel. He also has a film titled Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, alongside Sonam Bajwa, in the pipeline. Sadia, on the other hand, started her journey with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Kashmiri pandit plight-tale Shikara (2020).
