What’s streaming on Hindi OTT: From Rana Daggubati’s crime-thriller to Karan Johar’s reality show

1) Rana Naidu Season 2 (June 13, Netflix): Rana Daggubati returns to play his namesake, the stoic fixer Rana Naidu in the sophomore season of this crime-thriller adapted from the American show, Ray Donovan. This time, Rana faces a new, more personal threat from a dreaded gangster, Rauf. Rana attempts to save his loved ones as he onboards a risky mission that leads to more conflicts within the family. The show also stars Arjun Rampal, Venkatesh, Surveen Chawla, Kriti Kharbanda, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, and Dino Morea in pivotal roles. It is created by Karan Anshuman, who has also co-directed it with Suparn Varma and Abhay Chopra.

2) The Traitors (June 12, Prime Video): Karan Johar is at the center of this thrilling reality show as he hosts twenty diverse celebrities, including Anshula Kapoor, Apoorva, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Jasmine Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sufi Motiwala, and Uorfi Javed as they try to deceive each other in this battle of will and wit. The participants will be identified as ‘innocents’ and ‘traitors’. The traitors will need to eliminate the innocents, unless the innocents are able to identify them. It is an Indian adaptation of the Dutch reality show of the same name and will see new episodes coming every Thursday.

3) In Transit (June 13, Prime Video): With Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti as creative producers, this four-part documentary series explores the lives of trans and non-binary individuals as they navigate love, identity, and the boundaries of gender in a uniquely Indian way. It features stories of a Bengaluru-based classical musician, a young educator living in a forest, and a corporate working professional in Mumbai. The show is directed by Ayesha Sood.
