IMDB has published its list of most popular celebrities in India this week. Saiyaara star Aneet Padda tops the list, which also features Mrunal Thakur at 19th position. It seems like Mrunal Thakur did not even know the news until Kubbra Sait posted it on her Instagram Stories and gave her a shoutout. "And Mrunzie is here playing peek-a-boo tooo!!! Top class," wrote Kubbra Sait, who features 24th in the IMDB list. Mrunal shared Kubbra's Instagram Story and wrote in reply, "Love how you never fail to celebrate me."

Speaking of which, the two actors developed a bond while they were in acting class and built it further during the shoot of their upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2, also starring Ajay Devgn and Ravi Kishan. In a recent interview with Pioneer News Service, Kubbra stated that she has the same star sign—Leo—as Mrunal and that they celebrated their birthdays together during the film's shoot. She also commended Mrunal for her "kindness and resilience," particularly taking note of the latter's support during her bout with homesickness on set.

Produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, NR Pachisia, and Pravin Talreja, and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Son of Sardaar 2 is slated for an August 1 release in theatres. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora from a screenplay by Jagdeep Singh Sidhu and Mohit Jain, the film also stars Mukul Dev, Chunky Panday, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra and Vindu Dara Singh in key roles.
