Shah Rukh Khan picks up injury on King set: Reports

The makers of the film are yet to reveal the specifics of the injury

According to multiple reports, Shah Rukh Khan has been injured during the making of his upcoming film, King, at a Mumbai-based studio. The incident created some panic among the cast and crew, but reports suggest that the injury is not too serious and that the actor is recovering from it. Shah Rukh is known for doing stunts on his own, but the makers of the film are yet to reveal the specifics of the injury. According to a source close to the development, it is one that affects the muscles, and while not serious, the actor has gone to the USA for treatment and has been told to rest for a month.

Siddharth Anand is directing the film that is described as an action thriller and that also stars Saurabh Shukla and Suhana Khan. According to reports, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, and Raghav Juyal also star in the film, but the makers are yet to confirm the same. Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has also confirmed his involvement in the film.

Following Shah Rukh's injury, the makers have reportedly called off the production schedule for the remainder of July and for August, with an eye on a September resumption. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will be in recovery and rest.
