What’s streaming on Hindi OTT: Madhavan’s old-school romance-drama and 12th Fail BTS documentary

Here is your weekly guide on what to watch on Hindi OTT

Shreyas Pande

Aap Jaisa Koi (Netflix, July 11): Madhavan is back with a romance film after long. This time, he stars alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh in a dreamy, old-school love story. He plays a 42-year-old, unmarried Sanskrit teacher, Srirenu Tripathi living in Jamshedpur, who meets Madhu, a 32-year-old French teacher, who likes his simplicity. The two fall in love watching old films in theatres. However, conflict ensues when Srirenu wants her to act as per his own needs. Madhu brings up the concept of equality in love, which seems alien to Srirenu. The film has been helmed by Meenakshi Sundareshwar's (2021) director Vivek Soni and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment.
