Salman Khan is back after the debacle of Sikandar. He will be seen next in Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007) director Apoorva Lakhia’s Battle of Galwan.

A first-look motion poster from the film was unveiled on Friday. Salman dons an army uniform with blood on his face and an intense look in his red eyes.

The film is based on the Galwan Valley clash of 2020, where Indian and Chinese troops fought each other, resulting in casualties on both sides. The fighting majorly involved hand-to-hand combat using sticks and stones as weapons were banned in the area.

More details from the project about other cast members and the release date are awaited. However, based on Instagram tags, the film also stars Chitrangada Singh and features music by Himesh Reshamiya.

Salman seems to have gone through a body transformation for the film. He had earlier posted a photo with a leaner, muscular look. In the caption, he wrote in Hindi, “Work hard in the right direction. He will be kind to them and will make them a wrestler of their skill.”

Salman’s Sikandar was released on April 30 earlier this year and turned out to be a box-office failure.
