The trailer of Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. Written by Mansi Bagla and directed by Santosh Singh, the film marks the debut of Shanaya, who is the daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor.

The trailer introduces Vikrant as a visually impaired guy, Jahaan, falling in love with Saba played by Shanaya. She blindfolds herself in order to understand the experience of not being able to see. The trailer features some soulful songs composed, written and sung by Vishal Mishra. At one point, Saba says that she is tired of blindfolding herself. The two part ways and Saba is hitched to another person, Abhinav. The film has the vibe of a dreamy romance musical.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is shot by Tanveer Mir and edited by Unnikrishnan PP. Produced by Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla and Open Window Films, the film is set to be released in theatres on July 11.
