Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav and Remo D’Souza get death threats: ‘This is not a publicity stunt’

According to reports, the email has been sent from Pakistan and signed under the name ‘BISHNU’

Kapil Sharma recently received a death threat over email from Pakistan, according to reports. It was signed off as ‘BISHNU’. Earlier, similar threats were issued to Rajpal Yadav, Remo D’Souza and Sugandha Mishra.

An FIR has been registered in the matter and police have started the investigation. The email reads, “We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality."

According to the police, a reply was demanded from celebrities within eight hours or else they had to face consequences.

Rajpal had received the same mail on December 14 last year. It was found in the spam folder of his mail id. He had filed a complaint on December 17 with the police.
