Subhash Ghai’s short documentary, Kumbh – The Power Bank is available to watch on the filmmaker’s YouTube channel. Made with the assistance of the students of Ghai’s film school Whistling Woods International, the film explores the significance of the Mahakumbh, a spiritual gathering of people at Prayagraj which happens once in 144 years.

It features a discourse given by Sadhguru, explaining the meaning behind the gathering. By delving into the confluence of faith and mythology, the documentary sheds light on the deeper significance of this ancient tradition. 

Speaking about it, Ghai said, "Through this documentary, I wanted to highlight the fascinating interplay of science and mythology in the Mahakumbh, showcasing how this sacred event is not just a celebration of faith but also a reflection of our cultural and cosmic heritage."

Sharing the film’s link on Instagram, he wrote, “Please do watch this documentary on scientific reasons behind Mahakumbh. We made this along with students of our film school Whistling Woods International, Mumbai.”
