Akshay Kumar and Tabu are set to reunite with each other after 25 years in Priyadarshan’s upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla. They last collaborated on the director’s 2000 black comedy Hera Pheri.

The makers shared a photo of the two hugging each other from the sets of the film, which is being shot currently in Jaipur. In the caption, they wrote, “Some things get better and iconic with time! Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar and Tabu are back in action after 25 years for Bhooth Bangla in Jaipur.”

The film also stars Paresh Rawal and marks Akshay’s seventh collaboration with Priyadarshan. The actor-director have previously worked on acclaimed comedies like Garam Masala (2005), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), De Dana Dan (2009) and Khatta Meetha (2010).

The film has been produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, Akshay’s Cape Of Good Films and co-produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali. It is scheduled to release in theatres on April 2, 2026.
