Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao’s romantic-comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi will be re-released in theatres on February 7, the makers announced on Monday. Directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles.

Taking to Instagram, the makers shared a poster of the film and wrote, “This Valentine's, celebrate love and friendship and fill mithaas in your life with our barfis!”

Bareilly Ki Barfi tells the story of Bitti (Kriti), who is filled with a desire to meet with the author of a book she loves. Her search leads her to a publisher, Chirag (Ayushmann), who makes her believe that the author of the book is Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkummar).

The film features some memorable comic scenes between the trio and Rajkummar’s portrayal of an underconfident young man, who turns into a macho guy, received a lot of praise upon release.

Produced by Vineet Jain and Renu Ravi Chopra, Bareilly Ki Barfi released originally in theatres in 2017. It received favourable reviews and was a success at the box-office.
