Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram stories to shower praises on actor Zahan Kapoor for his performance in Vikramaditya Motwane’s prison-drama Black Warrant. Zahan is the son of Kunal Kapoor and the grandson of Shashi Kapoor.

Sharing the show’s trailer on her stories, Alia wrote, “Currently bingeing this gem! What a fabulous show, outstanding performances by the entire cast! Special special mention to our dearest Zahan. So proud of what you’ve created and all the love coming your way for your top top performance. You are all heart!”

Black Warrant is a Netflix series which is an adaptation of the non-fiction book, Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer, written by Sunil Gupta and journalist Sunetra Choudhury. It also stars Rahul Bhat, Anurag Thakur and Sidhant Gupta in pivotal roles. It released on the platform on January 10.

Zahan made his debut with Hansal Mehta’s Faraaz in 2022.
