Actors Shreyas Talpade and Kajal Aggarwal will soon be seen together in an upcoming film The India Story, shoot for which commenced on Thursday. Directed by Chetan DK, the film has been produced and written by Sagar B Shinde of MIG Production and Studios.
As per a press release by the makers, “The India Story is a gripping and intense drama that delves into the dark and controversial world of major scandals surrounding pesticide companies.”
The film has its shooting schedules in Kolhapur and Mumbai. It is slated to release in theatres on August 15.
When it comes to other projects, Shreyas is awaiting the release of Emergency, headlined by Kangana Ranaut, in which he plays the role of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He was last seen in Chandu Champion (2024) and also has the ensemble comedy film Welcome To The Jungle in the pipeline. Kajal, on the other hand, was last seen in Shankar’s Indian 2. She also has Salman Khan’s Sikandar in the offing.
