Azaad trailer: Aaman Devgn, Rasha Thadani in a tale of how to train your stallion

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film also stars Ajay Devgn and Diana Penty

The trailer of Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani’s debut film Azaad was unveiled by the makers on Monday. The period film has been helmed by Rock On!! (2008) and Kai Po Che! (2013) director Abhishek Kapoor. It also stars Ajay Devgn and Diana Penty.

Azaad is set during the British Raj. The trailer introduces us to the titular horse, who is the personal stallion of dacoit Vikram Singh (Ajay Devgn). Aaman plays a young boy who works at the stables but is also training under Vikram as a rebel against the Raj. Rasha plays a young girl who comes from an affluent family. The trailer gives us a glimpse into how the relationship between Aaman’s character and the horse Azaad develops.

Azaad is written by Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair and Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor.

The film is slated to release on January 17.
