Yash is set to begin shooting for the mythological-epic Ramayana soon after completing his upcoming Kannada actioner Toxic. The actor will play the role of Ravana in the Nitish Tiwari directorial, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead.

An industry insider revealed, "Yash is currently in Bangalore and will prioritize completing the Toxic shoot before commencing work on Ramayana. As co-producer of both films, he plans to dedicate his full attention to each project sequentially. He should start shooting for Ramayana in the coming months”

Ramayana was officially announced last year in November with Prime Focus Studios’ Namit Malhotra serving as producer. The film is set to be released in two parts, with the first one planned to release on Diwali 2026 and the second one in 2027.

Meanwhile, Yash's Toxic is being helmed by Geetu Mohandas and will be shot simultaneously in Kannada and English along with getting dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
