Amid the success of the re-release of his 2016 romantic-drama Sanam Teri Kasam, Harshvardhan Rane has announced his next film titled Deewaniyat. It is written by Mushtaq Sheikh and Milap Zaveri, who has also directed it.

Harshvardhan took to Instagram to share a motion poster of the film, which features his voiceover on love and heartbreak as the image of a rose comes alive on screen with a bloody hand holding it. In the caption, he wrote, “Announcing Our Next: Deewaniyat. A soul-stirring musical love story starring Harshvardhan Rane, following the phenomenal success to the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam. A tale of love, heartbreak, and music that will echo in your hearts forever. In Cinemas 2025!” It is produced by Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan.

Sanam Teri Kasam re-released in theatres and surpassed its lifetime collection of Rs 9 crore in just two days. The film, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, marked the Hindi film debut of Harshvardhan and Pakistani actor Mawra.
