Actor Manoj Bajpayee recently reminisced about a starstruck moment he had when he met Amitabh Bachchan a long time ago. Speaking to Galatta Plus, Manoj said that he bumped into Amitabh and his actor son Abhishek Bachchan during a screening of 1998's Satya, directed by Ram Gopal Varma. "I was thrown into that situation where I did not want to face Mr Bachchan. I went and hid myself in a toilet, and Abhishek saw me going there," Manoj recalled. The actor added that when he came out of the toilet, Abhishek Bachchan complimented him for his performance in Satya, and the next thing he knew, Amitabh came and stood next to him. "I saw this tall guy coming and standing right in front of me. For me, everything froze at that moment," Manoj Bajpayee said.

The actor also shared that he is not capable of having a similar effect on any of his audiences. "I do not think my performances can do that to anyone. Mr Bachchan has been a personality that... I do not think anybody has seen that stature ever," Manoj admitted candidly.

Manoj Bajpayee and Amitabh Bachchan worked together on multiple films, such as Aks (2001), Aarakshan (2011) and Satyagraha (2012).
