Arjun Rampal, who was recently seen in the role of ISI chief Major Iqbal in the blockbuster Dhurandhar, has announced his engagement to longtime partner Gabriella Demetriades.

The couple lives in Goa and has been together since 2019. They are also parents to two sons, Arik and Ariv.

Arjun made the announcement on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast Chapter 2. On Saturday, Rhea shared a video on social media featuring a trailer of the upcoming episode featuring Arjun and Gabriella. In the clip, Gabriella candidly says, “We’re not married now, but who knows?” — prompting Rampal to make a revelation “We are engaged! We just broke it on your show,” he said, confirming their engagement. During the conversation, Gabriella reflected on how parenthood reshaped her understanding of love. “Your love comes with conditions, it’s like if a person behaves this way, then get my approval or love. But when you have a child, you can’t do that, right?” she said.

Arjun also spoke about losing his mother Gwen Rampal in 2018.

“Support when you lose your parents, nobody can prepare you for. So, I always say losing a parent is liking losing a limb,” he said.

Adding a lighter moment to the conversation, Gabriella revealed that she hadn’t approached Arjun because of his looks and hoped he hadn’t done the same. Arjun’s candid reply drew laughs. “No, no. I went after her because she was hot, then I realised there is a little more to it than just the hotness,” he said.

Arjun was previously married to model Mehr Jesia, with whom he shares two daughters, Myra and Mahikaa. The former couple continue to co-parent their children.
