Reports have emerged that actor Akshaye Khanna is set to reunite with Akshay Kumar after 15 years, in Bhagam Bhag 2. Akshaye Khanna previously teamed up with Akshay Kumar in the 2010 film Tees Maar Khan.

Akshaye Khanna had two releases this year: Chhava, in which he played Aurangzeb and the recently released Dhurandhar, headlined by Ranveer Singh. He will also be seen in the second part of the Aditya Dhar film. He will also be seen in Mahakali and Drishyam 3.

Reports also suggest that the film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and would be directed by Dream Girl helmer Raaj Shandilya.

We had reported late last year that the 2006 film Priyadarshan Bhagam Bhag would get a sequel. It starred  Govinda, Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav and Arbaaz Khan, among others.

Bhagam Bhag is among Priyadarshan’s popular comedies, which was adapted from the Malayalam film Mannar Mathai Speaking. It told the story of a theatre group which travels to London to organize a show. However, two actors in the group are embroiled in a mystery surrounding a murder for which they are wrongly accused.
