ANI shared a video where Shah Rukh and AbRam can be seen shaking hands and posing for pictures with Messi and his Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez. The moment comes two days after Shah Rukh's X post, where he shared his excitement at meeting the Argentina and Barcelona football legend.

The meeting between the Bollywood superstar and one of the greatest football players of all time invited many interesting reactions from netizens. Some of them shared a still where Shah Rukh can be seen looking at Messi as he waits to shake hands with the latter and wrote quirky captions. One of the captions goes like, "Show me someone who looks at Messi the way Shah Rukh does here."

Meanwhile, others argued that Shah Rukh paid an exorbitant amount of money to meet, shake hands with and take photographs with Messi, alluding to news reports about it costing around 10 lakh per person.

Messi is in India as part of the so-called GOAT Tour, a nickname for some events featuring him in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, and Hyderabad. Shah Rukh has long been an admirer of the footballer. Shah Rukh's son AbRam has also been spotted wearing the No 10 jersey in tribute to Messi.
