Ek Chatur Naar teaser: Neil Nitin Mukesh and Divya Khossla in a game of wits in this comedy-thriller

Directed by Umesh Shukla, the film is set to be released in theatres on September 12

The teaser of Neil Nitin Mukesh and Divya Khossla’s upcoming comedy thriller Ek Chatur Naar was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. Helmed by OMG (2012) director Umesh Shukla, the film also stars Chhaya Kadam, Sushant Singh, Rajneish Duggal, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Heli Daruwala, Rose Sardana, and Geeta Agarwal Sharma in pivotal roles.

The teaser features a voiceover of Ravi Kishan as he introduces the world of the film and the characters played by Neil and Divya. Neil seems to be a wealthy businessman while Divya plays a smart woman who is seen donning different appearances. At one point, Neil’s character points the gun at Divya in a car who doesn’t seem to be affected by it. As per a press release, the film is described as a, “high-stakes battle of wits, where nothing is as it seems and everyone has something to hide.”

With a story by Himanshu Tripathi, the film’s screenplay is written by Jay Master & Umesh Shukla with Deepak Nirman and Siddhaarth Goel credited for additional story and additional screenplay. Jay has also penned the dialogues for the film which is shot by Sameer Arya and edited by Mayur Hardas. It features music by Vayu and Sharan Rawat, with background score by Amar Mohile.

Ek Chatur Naar is produced by Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh, and Zeeshan Ahmad and will be released in theatres on September 12.

Divya was last seen in the crime-thriller, Savi which released in theatres last year and also starred Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. Neil featured alongside R Madhavan in Hisaab Barabar which came out on ZEE5 earlier this year. He was recently seen in the web-series Hai Junoon! Dream. Dare. Dominate, which premiered on JioHotstar on May 16 and also starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Boman Irani, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam, and Priyank Sharma in pivotal roles.
