After more romantic endeavours like Aap Jaisa Koi (2025) and Metro…In Dino (2025) actor Fatima Sana Shaikh might be gearing up for an action film, if we go by her recent Instagram stories.
In one of the two photos shared by the Dangal (2016) actor, she can be seen posing with a team of trainers. The note on which reads, “Training for action feels like home.” Another photo she shared was a selfie.
A source gave more details on Fatima’s training. “It’s as much about stamina as it is about choreography,” they said. “Fatima is working on controlled combat movements, timed reactions, and mastering sequences that involve multiple opponents. It’s a mix of martial arts basics, hand-to-hand combat, and functional strength training.”
The source added, “She wants to understand the rhythm, which is why the team has brought in specialists to train her in body mechanics and realistic fight execution.”
Although any more details on the project is under wraps, the source revealed, “She’s clearly preparing for a performance that demands physical credibility. Audiences are going to see a very different side of her in the next film.”
Fatima was last seen in the Netflix’s May-December romance Aap Jaisa Koi, opposite R Madhavan.
