The teaser of Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming actioner, Baaghi 4 was unveiled by the makers on Monday. Helmed by Kannada director A Harsha with a screenplay by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also stars Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu in pivotal roles.

The Baaghi 4 teaser gives a glimpse into the actioner featuring gory and hyper-violent action sequences involving all the actors. A voiceover of Tiger’s character in the franchise, Ronny is heard as he mentions about the difference between what is necessary and what is needed. The visuals show tears being shed from the faces of Sanjay, Tiger, and Sonam. Then the the action scenes are shown where Tiger kills enemies in a quick succession with knives and machetes. Sanjay’s character wears a white suit and goes about violently thrashing people with a sharp object. At one point, Sanjay is seen entering a church with a blood-dripping knife.

Tiger’s voiceover says, “I have been hearing stories about a hero and villain since I was a kid. I didn’t know back then that I would be the hero and villain of my story.” More action sequences are shown involving the female actors, Sonam and Harnaaz as they engage in violent fights. The teaser ends with a menacing visual of Sanjay lighting a cigar from a spark coming off a severed hand.

Sharing the teaser, the makers wrote, “Har Aashiq Ek Villain Hain (Every lover is a villain). No escape. No mercy. Brace yourself — a Bloody, Violent Love Story begins.”

All the previous instalments of the Baaghi franchises have been inspired from South Indian films like Varsham (2004), Kshanam (2016), and Vettai (2012). However, director Harsha told CE in an earlier interview that the fourth part will not be a remake. “It’s going to be grittier, with more raw intensity. Tiger’s character will undergo a complete makeover. We’ve reimagined his action sequences with extreme moves and emotions, which will be a new experience for the audience. Sajid (Nadiadwala, producer) has a keen understanding of scripts, and this is not a regular commercial film. We’re aiming for a darker, more intense vibe” he said.

The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is set to be released in theatres on September 5, 2025.
