A day before the teaser release of Farhan Akhtar starrer upcoming war-drama 120 Bahadur, the makers have unveiled a new poster from the film.

In the poster, shared on social media, Farhan can be seen standing in snowfall, in an army jacket while holding a rifle and looking intense. “Hum peechhe nahin hatenge (We won’t back down),” reads the caption.

120 Bahadur will tell the story of Param Vir Chakra awardee, Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and the soldiers of Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment. The military action film is set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China war and draws inspiration from the Battle of Rezang La, where 120 Indian soldiers fought against several thousand Chinese troops.

The film has been directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai.

Last month, a new poster from the film was released, which showed Farhan’s intense look as he is seen firing a gun and showing bloodied teeth.

In the poster, Farhan is seen holding a gun and firing it with vigour revealing some blood coming off his mouth. He wrote a short note in the caption about the real-events that the film is based on. He had said, “It’s been 62 years since 1962. Today, we honor the unparalleled courage and sacrifice of the heroes of Rezang La. 120 Bahadur is our tribute to the valor and the indomitable spirit of Major Shaitan Singh and his brave men, who stood their ground against insurmountable odds.”

He added, “Their story echoes through time, reminding us of the price of freedom and the strength of unity, with a special salute to the Ahir community, whose sons displayed unmatched bravery in defending our nation.”

The film features music by Amit Trivedi and lyrics by Javed Akhtar. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Amit Chandrra. It will be released in theatres on November 21, 2025.

Farhan is no stranger to war films. One of his most acclaimed directorial is the Hrithik Roshan starrer Lakshya (2004).
