Reema Kagti’s Superboys of Malegaon had its OTT premiere as it released on Prime Video on Friday. Written by Varun Grover, the film stars Adarsh Gourav, Viineet Kumar Siingh and Shashank Arora in the lead.

Making the announcement, the makers shared a short promo, featuring glimpses of some scenes from the film. It is based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. Nasir gets inspired to make a film for the people of Malegaon, by the people of Malegaon. He bands together his ragtag group of friends to bring his vision to life.

The film had its premiere earlier at TIFF, BFI London Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, and Red Sea International Film Festival last year. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema, it was released in theatres on February 28.
