The teaser of Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor’s upcoming horror-comedy Kapkapiii was unveiled by the makers on Friday. Directed by the late Sangeeth Sivan (Kya Kool Hain Hum, Apna Sapna Money Money) and written by Saurabh Anand and Kumar Priyadarshi, the film also stars Sonia Rathee, Siddhi Idnani, Abishek Kumar, Jay Thakkar, Varun Pandey, Dherendra Tiwari and Dinkar Sharma in pivotal roles.

The teaser opens with Shreyas’ character opening up an Ouija board and cleaning it up. Along with his friends, they try to call up the ghost. The group of friends seem to stay together at a house. A gangster fires a gun at one point, sending others in a frenzy. Not much is revealed in the teaser as it just features some moments of fright and laughter. It ends with the introduction of Tusshar’s character, Kabir, who is signing the song, ‘Abhi Na Jaao Chhod Kar’ in the female voice. As Shreyas pats on his shoulder, Kabir turns back and shouts, scaring everyone.

The teaser will officially be attached to the theatrical release of Pratik Gandhi’s Phule.

Kapkapiii is produced by Jayesh Patel and Umesh Kr Bansal. It is slated to hit the theatres on May 23.
