What's streaming: Your Hindi OTT fix for the week

From Saif Ali Khan doing high-octane action to Sohum Shah manning a gritty thriller, here are the Hindi films you can catch on OTT this week

Jewel Thief—The Heist Begins (Netflix, April 25): Starring Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Roy Kapur and Nikita Dutta, this thriller tells the story of a con-artist, Rehan (Saif), who takes up the mission to steal the African Red Sun diamond while trying to outsmart his brutal adversary, Rajan (Jaideep). Kunal plays a relentless detective working to stop the theft. The film is written by Sumir Aroraa and directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal with Pathaan director Siddharth Anand serving as the producer.

Superboys of Malegaon (Prime Video, April 25): Inspired from a real-life story and directed by Reema Kagti, the film revolves around Nasir, an amateur filmmaker, and his group of friends as they go about making parodies of Bollywood blockbusters in the movie-buff town of Malegaon. It stars Adarsh Gourav, Viineet Kumar Siingh and Shashank Gourav in the lead. The film is written by Varun Grover and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema. It was released in theatres on February 28.

Crazxy (Prime Video, April 25): Sohum Shah’s crime-thriller features him playing a surgeon Dr. Abhimanyu Singh, on the ‘worst day of his life’ as he races against time to save his daughter from an enigmatic kidnapper. It is written and directed by Girish Kohli, known for writing films like Sridevi’s Mom (2017) and Rajkummar Rao’s HIT: The First Case (2022). The 93-minute film features recreations of old classic songs like ‘Abhimanyu Chakravyuh Mein Phass Gaya Hai Tu’ from Amitabh Bachchan’s Inquilab and ‘Goli Maar Bheje Mein’ from Satya. It was released in theatres on February 28.
