The song, ‘Tumhe Dillagi’ from Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapoor’s Raid 2 was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. It is a recreation of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s classic melody, which has been sung for the film by Jubin Nautiyal with music by Rochak Kohli and lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.

The song features Ajay and Vaani on the festive night of Holi, where the pyre is being burnt. The two look at each other and Vaani removes a flower petal from his shoulder. Just as she turns back, Ajay stops her. There is a petal on her hair which he removes and she blushes. The recreation retains the flavour of the original while adding its own touch to it. The visuals also feature Ajay and Vaani going on a car drive along with their daughter.

Earlier, a dance number, ‘Nasha’ featuring Tamannaah Bhatia was unveiled.

Raid 2 is a sequel to the 2018 crime thriller Raid. Apart from Ajay and Riteish, the film also features Vaani Kapoor. Saurabh Shukla is also going to reprise his role of ‘Tauji’ from the first film.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film has been produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar through their T-Series banner, alongside Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak of Panorama. It will be released in theatres on May 1.
