The song, ‘Angreji Rangrasiya’ from Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s romantic-musical Abir Gulaal was unveiled by the makers on Friday. It is composed by Amit Trivedi who has also sung it with Chotu Khan, Akanksha Sethi with lyrics by Kumaar.

The song features Vaani wearing an ethnic yellow dress as she dances along the vocals of Amit, who also features in the music video. The setting seems to that of a traditional function in Rajasthan. Fawad overlooks at Vaani as she starts dancing. The song has a lively, upbeat feel to it with a festive flavour. Later, Fawad and Vaani are seen exchanging glances at each other at the bar table as she whistles at him and he smirks looking at her.

The film’s teaser was unveiled earlier, which showed Fawad and Vaani seating in a car as Fawad sings 'Kuch Na Kaho’ from the 1994 film 1942: A Love Story as it plays over the radio.

Directed by Aarti S. Bagdi, Abir Gulaal also stars Lisa Haydon, Riddhi Dogra, Farida Jalal, Soni Razdan, Parmeet Sethi, Rahul Vora and Amrit Sandhu in pivotal roles. Produced by Vivek B. Agrawal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy, it is set to be released in theatres on May  9.
